The SEMR 2000 Surface Electronic memory Recorder is a battery powered data recorder. It contains GRC’s GIC 2000 Gauge Interface Controller. The SEMR is battery operated, can be connected to a solar cell for unattended use, is portable, easy to transport and very flexible. It is designed to be used with GRC Electronic Pressure Gauges in remote locations. The SEMR is connected to the gauge by a single conductor cable, which also supplies power, eliminating the need for a grid power or generator at the site.
It operates on an internal lead-acid battery for 7 days, which can be recharged by a common truck battery. On a small solar generator the SEMR 2000 is capable of operating for an infinite period of time. It can be located up to 25,000 feet (5 miles) from the gauge.
