Geophysical Research Company, LLC (GRC) is a worldwide leader in downhole data acquisition and the leader in proprietary technology for collecting, recording and delivering reliable, accurate and extremely high-resolution data to the surface.
GRC provides gauges and surface readouts for permanent, memory and artificial lift applications, as well as the Amerada® mechanical gauge used for over 80 years in the oil and gas industry. GRC’s line of gauges operates in a spectrum of temperatures with various sensors and different recording methods to offer precise pressure and temperature gathering operations. Along with mechanical, and electronic gauges, GRC also provides sensors to the electric submersible pump (ESP) and production cavity pump (PCP) industry.
GRC is the only pressure and temperature gauge company that designs and manufactures the complete gauge system, including the transducer, line driver circuit and surface data acquisition equipment, GRC also provides PITool© software, calibration services, customer technical support services and simulation equipment to troubleshoot any GRC tool application.
Our system is designed to lower customers’ total cost of ownership by ensuring less frequent recalibration, industry leading data accuracy and resolution, lower repair costs arid decreased wet-management costs. GRC’s artificial lift gauges provide operators with numerous parameters to determine well bore optimization, plus preventive maintenance programs and the ability to interface with controllers to maximize production.
Worldwide Sales and Service
GRC’s headquarters and technology center have been located in Tulsa, Oklahoma since 1925. Our current facility was built in 1965 to better accommodate the research and development of pressure and temperature technology, as well as the manufacturing of GRC downhole gauge systems. This facility is conveniently located next to the Tulsa International Airport on a 9-acre site. The manufacturing and technology center includes approximately 65,000 square feet of space, with another 25,000 square feet devoted to corporate offices and our research and development center.
